Education Program Coordinator - bilingual

*start date negotiable, 8 week contract
$18/hour, 35 hours/week
The Canadian Student Leadership Association is seeking a bilingual education program co-ordinator to support the further development and facilitation of CSLA's virtual programs, the Student Leadership Certification Program and Horizons Leadership Conferences.The successful applicant will be responsible for working with the Program Coordinator and Executive Director to facilitate a multi-level certification program for youth leadership and resources for youth-led conferences. These programs will be structured around various aspects of youth leadership such as leadership style, event management and planning, logistics, community outreach and being an engaged citizen. The employee will also assist in strategic planning sessions, communication development planning and program evaluations. Responsibilities will include enhancing the facilitation structure for youth programs, developing necessary content, researching and collecting content from program partners and educators, developing live, interactive programming including accessibility options, marketing planning, review of participant work, certificate creation and delivery (online), and youth outreach and feedback collection. All of these tasks will take place in French and English, with an emphasis on growing the Francophone resources the CSLA provides to youth in Canada. The youth will also assist in translating content, marketing and branding from English to French.
The successful applicant will also provide French-language mentorship to francophone student leaders who are engaged in more direct community impact projects as part of the capstone assignment of the SLCP or granting programs of Horizons Leadership Conferences.

The Canadian Student Leadership Association is a federally registered charity in Canada. Founded in 1985 to originally support the continuation of our main event, the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC), CSLA has since grown, and now distributes leadership resources, materials, scholarships, and organizes programs and events for its member schools across the country.
