Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

Yes, those eggs are GREEN, Sam-I-Am!

The good Doctor’s birthday is March 2. Our school decided that we should recognize this literary giant by serving green eggs and ham in the cafeteria for lunch. Now, to make green eggs, we learned that you don’t use green dye. You use your colour theory, Sam-I-Am, and mix blue food colouring with the scrambled eggs. It produces a lovely, Seuss shade of green. Unfortunately, many people chose not to eat them in a box, or with a fox, or in the caf. or really anywhere . . . But it was fun.

Continue the fun by having staff and students read their favourite Dr. Suess stories to the crowd.
