Executive Director
Maddie Campbell (she/her)
Maddie began her leadership journey as a secondary school student, leading her school as co-prime minister, before joining her undergradaute student society and working as an Orientation week coordinator. Maddie joined CSLA as a co-op student in 2016, and moved into a full-time role in 2019. She has served as CSLA's Executive Director since 2022.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo's Recreation and Sport Business program, Maddie uses her educational background and passion for sport and community as an active volunteer with local hockey organizations. Maddie has served as the Chair of the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce's Chamber Young Professionals Committee and is a member of the Rick Hansen Foundation's School Advisory Committee. While away from her desk or leadership programs, you'll find Maddie travelling to experience sports and great food, hosting friends and family, and giving her time to her local community in Waterloo Region.

Program Operations and Membership Coordinator
Darci Prince (she/her)
Through her various working roles and volunteer experiences, Darci brings a mixed bag of knowledge and skills to the CSLA team. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts, Recreation and Sport Business from the University of Waterloo, volunteer experience with provincial minor football organizations, the Galt - Cambridge Lions Service Club, as well as work experience from the University of Waterloo, Hilton Hotels, and The Walt Disney Company, if you can think it, Darci will find a way to get it done!

Darci spends most of her time adventuring around Waterloo Region with her husband and two young kids, usually at an ice cream shop, a sporting event, or African Lion Safari. When she's not planning a Disney vacation (for herself or for someone else), she is rewatching a comfort show, and always has at least two books on the go - one paperback and one audio; yes - audiobooks are considered reading! Program Assistant
Brooke Roussy (she/her)
Brooke is a teacher candidate currently completing her studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. She joined CSLA in early 2025 through an alternative placement opportunity and has been a bright addition to the team, rediscovering her passion for leadership along the way.

Her leadership journey began in high school, where she planned events, attended conferences, and served as co-president in Grade 12, an experience that sparked her love for helping her community. Brooke continued to grow as a leader during her Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies at Brock University, where she was an active member of the Brock Leaders Citizenship Society. Even throughout the challenges of the pandemic, she found creative ways to plan virtual events and keep her community engaged.

In 2024, Brooke began her Bachelor of Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and reconnected with CSLA, bringing her leadership story full circle. She is also a proud CSLC alumnus, having attended national conferences in Waterloo (2017) and Edmonton (2018).

Outside of her studies and leadership work, Brooke can usually be found practicing yoga, battling Ticketmaster queues for concert tickets, or working on puzzles (strictly 1000 pieces or less, she has boundaries). She also loves spending time with her family in Kitchener, Ontario and up north in Sudbury, Ontario.
